SUPPLIER RESPONSIBILITY
At ASN, a part of Nokia, we rely on our suppliers and their world-class levels of quality for everything we make. While producing our undersea systems, we hold ourselves and our suppliers to the highest standards to protect the people in our supply chain, protect the world we operate in, and to protect the reliability of the systems we build.
Our Supplier Code of Conduct is designed to uphold those commitments. From the sourcing of materials to the marine operations carried out in every ocean, we work with suppliers to ensure our requirements are being met.
CONNECT & PROTECT THE PLANET
ASN is a worldwide leader in undersea communications. Since 1858 when the first transatlantic cable was manufactured in Greenwich, to today with our Energy Solutions and Fiber Sensing businesses our success is due in large part to our great network of suppliers and on the core values we uphold through every stage of our work, behaving ethically and conducting business with integrity.
As we connect more people to the benefits of the internet and help industries become more efficient and better for our planet, we continue to rely on our suppliers operating to the highest ideals in human rights and environmental protections; making the world a better place together.
Our suppliers operate on land and sea.
Regardless of the material or service they provide, all their employees must benefit from the highest standards of human rights. ASN requires every supplier to provide a safe working environment, free from discrimination.
ASN expects suppliers within their own operations and their own supply chains to make clear links between human rights and business activities in accordance with the United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights.
